It's All 'Gravy' From Here
We return to the scene of the crime this
June, where Todd Keefe stole the show with a 1-stroke victory. Well,
Todd's back
in the conversation and winning again is a real possibility.

Guy's
Magic Moment
No one could have predicted this
one. Thirty years ago, Guy Leo shot a net round of 57 to win the 1987
Fuchsia by a staggering eight strokes. This is how Guy summed up his
win. "I sandbagged. I played rotten the last three years in a row so I
could really kill today. I'm really a good golfer."
|
He Made How Many Pars?
It sounds so surreal. How is
it possible to par 15 holes? Ask Lenny Danna. He did it at Spring Valley
in 1992. Lenny holds the record for most pars in one round. And by the way,
Lenny shot 71 that year to finish second.

Make Room For Donny
Don Leone respects his elders. He also
wants to beat them. And the younger guys too. Better believe that Don
will be all rested up and ready to go after sitting out last year's Fuchsia.

His Birthday Wish? Win No.8
I don't know what you're doing on
your Birthday, but I do know what Dave Barnett is doing on his. Dave
will be spending it at Lake Tahoe golf course trying to win the 46th Fuchsia.

Let's Make It
Interesting
A side bet or two can spice up your
golf game

Most
of us enjoy a small wager when we play. And even the USGA is okay with
that. You can say golf and gambling go together like steak and baked
potato. It makes the game more exciting. Maybe this group--Dan Divine,
Ben Leone, Grant Pierce and Peter Ligeti--should try it. |
